Boyfriend Jeans casual fashion gold nautical OOTD red Ricki's Roll-Sleeve Blouse slingbacks stripes Torrid Zara
Nautical and Nice
I can't imagine that I am the first person to come up with that clever little headline, but I have to tell you, I am pretty darn proud of it. Quite possibly the best blog post title I have EVER come up with...
So, its not OVERLY nautical, but it features navy and white stripes, with accents of red and gold, so I think it counts.
This is one of those few outfits that are comfortable AND I feel cute in. Featured, yet again, are my Torrid boyfriend jeans, that I honestly think I would live in it wouldn't seem totally weird (and somewhat unhygienic) to be wearing the same pants day in, day out. And to think I almost didn't buy them. I don't see boyfriend jeans on the "scene" as much as I did maybe last year, but I don't care. Like Rick Astley, I'm never gonna give you up [distressed boyfriend jean]. You know why they are so damn perfect? They fit my hips, tummy and thighs perfectly. Jeans usually give me muffin top, or they gap at the back, or they are too tight in the thighs. These fit like a glove, with the perfect rise. I wish I could find a pair of trouser jeans that fit like this in the waist/hips/thigh area.
So, this shirt, I kind of wish it weren't SO blousey. I had to go up a size in order for it not to pull across the girls, so its quite roomy, but, I suppose that if it weren't that roomy, it wouldn't be so damn comfy. And these shoes are from ZARA. I don't remember buying shoes from Zara, because I think I find them too expensive. But I have a pair in my closet. And I love them. They have such a 50s vibe to them. I think its the slingback, and the shape/height of the heel...
