Oxblood Tights (Pin to Post)
I've really been slacking in the Pin to Post department! I used to get SO much inspiration from Pinterest, but the spark is gone... not sure why. When I am in a real slump though, my Pin to Post board can give me the kick in the pants that I need to get an OOTD together!
I mostly realised that I could make this all come together when I remembered that I had purchased some oxblood tights at Ricki's not too long ago. It was 2 for $20, I was kind of in a rush, and I grabbed the oxblood pair, figuring they should be easy to work into my Fall/Winter wardrobe.
I wore my light brown cardigan instead of my grey one, because the one I have is too light, and I kind of like keeping it in the color family, since I was wearing brown boots.
To be honest, I wasn't in love with this look, once it was on me. Much better in the abstract, from that polyvore post. In the Pin, the shirts aren't tucked into the skirt, but I kinda felt like I had to, it was too sloppy looking otherwise. I blame that on my choice of shirt though. When I picked it out of my closet in the cold pre-dawn dark, I forgot that it had a bubble hem, which normally I love, but with so many layers, it was too much.
Check the Polyvore post for (what I think should be active) links to the items in the original post, but as for me:
Necklace (Southhill Designs)
Scarf (unknown; gifted)
Earrings (H&M ages ago)
All of the items in my OOTD are old (except for the tights) so I have no links to products.
