brown heels ebay fashion fear of the untuck hand-me-down OOTD Reitmans skinny jeans Torrid
Take this shirt for instance. Had I seen this on the rack, I would have gone right past it.
- I don't have much purple (no reason why, I just don't seem to be drawn to it)
- The pattern, although I lurve paisley, can sometimes seem a little matronly (think Sears... you know the section)
- It has a fitted section at the waist. Normally I stay the hell away from cuts like that, because my belleh is my most hated and feared area on my body, and that usually accentuates the fullness that lays therein
But somehow, I liked everything about this when I put it on. Well, originally the buttons were done all the way up to the top, but I had to open them up to get a little more skin at my neck—I likes me some v-necks, real or imagined.
It's also another way around a totally untucked shirt.
You may be familiar with my another fear and loathing of mine, for the way having a shirt untucked can make an otherwise perfectly lovely outfit look kinda schlubby. Don't get me wrong, it can be done, it's just a bit more work.
So, thank you Andrea, you have opened my eyes to a new fit of shirt that I may now be more inclined to try!
Oh, and I had to include a shot of my most recent eBay earring purchase. It actually came with a small pearl for the front, but I just used my "diamond" earring. I like the contrast.
And this will be my last OOTD post with the remnants of my red hair! I'm blonde again!
