fashion fit and flare Forever 21+ grey pumps Office appropriate old navy OOTD tweed dress white cropped cardigan
Outfits usually go one of two ways for me. This one went something like this. I loved it on the hanger. I looooved it in the mirror.... I'm kind of meh about it in the pictures. The other way that outfits go is that I am not feeling them much on the hanger or in the mirror, but then the pics look great. Can't really ever get those two to overlap. Its pretty rare that I love it on the hanger/ in the mirror/ in pictures. But hey, 2 outta 3 ain't bad!
So, if I was inclined to do haul videos, I could have done one last week. Did the trinity... bought clothes, makeup AND shoes.
This dress was one of the clothing items. I was shocked to find a piece with this aesthetic from Forever 21. Its tweed! When I think of Forever 21, I don't think tweed, lemme tell you. I think of floral fringed kimonos and frayed bootie shorts. At least for Spring. Not exactly something I could wear to work... Granted, even though this is tweed, its definitely a Forever 21+ length. I don't usually pick skirts above the knee, but I think I was just so in love with everything else about this dress, I didn't quite notice the length...
I was really pleased with the fit of this dress. I don't have a lot of fit n' flare dresses, so I knew I had to take this one home with me. I think next time I wear it I will go less monochromatic and more pop of color. Maybe a red cardigan... maybe no cardigan at all! Spring is just around the corner, right?
Nope, I've got it.
With a white blouse over top, tied at the waist. I've been seeing that look around lately, and I have been looking for a flared midi skirt that I could wear like that, but I think that this dress will fit the bill just fine in the mean time!
